For example, three salmon (fish) are used to denote the surname "Salmon". Rebus in this form was a favorite form of heraldic expression used in the Middle Ages to denote surnames. For example: the word "car" might be depicted by a rebus showing a cat next to a minus sign (-) and the letter "t" together with the plus sign (+) and the letter "r". Attribution is appreciated, but not required.Īccording to Wikipedia, a rebus is a puzzle device that combines the use of illustrated pictures with individual letters to depict words or phrases. Images used for rebus creation are released under the Creative Commons CC0 license and may be used freely for almost any purpose - even commercially and in printed format. Words chosen to encode the original phrase are shown above each rebus image.ģTo change the images used to represent each keyword, use the buttons above each image.ĤAs the last step, save the final rebus as PDF or PNG file using the Save as PDF file & Save as PNG file buttons. To encode a single word as several images, insert the space into the word.ĢOnce the rebus is shown, adjust the words used for rebus creation, pressing the Previus Next buttons under each image-encoded word. A=B (replace A with B)Įach word will be encoded as a single image. The created rebus puzzle consists of up to 10 images and rebus decode instructions shown below each image. 1To create the rebus puzzle, enter the word or short phrase in the Word of phrase field and press the Generate rebus button.

TimerCallbackFunction_t pxCallbackFunction ) To create a new software timer, I need a timer handle for it: xTimerHandle timerHndl1Sec īelow is the API to create a new timer: TimerHandle_t xTimerCreate( const char * const pcTimerName, In this example, I’m going to create a software timer which blinks a LED every second. But if multiple commands can be sent from higher priority tasks or from interrupts, make sure your queue is long enough for this. With the Timer task having the highest priority in the system, the queue can be smaller. Basically the queue needs to hold as many command items which can be sent by other tasks (or interrupts) until they can be served by the Timer Task. The question might be: what is a useful length for that queue? Because the longer, the more RAM is used. The length of the queue can be configured with the following macro, while the name of the queue “TmrQ” is hard-coded in the RTOS: #define configTIMER_QUEUE_LENGTH 10 This queue is used for IPC (Inter-Process Communication) between the timer task and the other tasks of the system. □ What you see here is the queue for the timer task, not the list of timers created. The other thing which gets created is a queue for the timer task, named ‘TmrQ’: To find out what your tasks are using on the stack, see “ Understanding FreeRTOS Task Stack Usage and Kernel awareness Information“. The timer stack size really depends on what you are doing in the timer hooks called from the timer task. I recommend to give the timer task the highest task priority in the system, otherwise you will see some latency in the timer hook execution. #define configTIMER_TASK_STACK_DEPTH (configMINIMAL_STACK_SIZE * 2) #define configTIMER_TASK_PRIORITY (configMAX_PRIORITIES - 1) The timer task name, priority and stack size can be configured with the following macros in FreeRTOSConfig.h #define configTIMER_SERVICE_TASK_NAME "Tmr Svc" Basically it checks if a timer has been expired and calls the associated timer hook. This timer task is responsible to handle all FreeRTOS software timers in the system. In above screenshot (Event Object column) you can see as well that the Tmr Svc is waiting for receiving an object in the TmrQ queue. Because this creates the ‘Tmr Svc’ task during vTaskStartScheduler(): If you are not using FreeRTOS software timers, set that macro to 0, otherwise your application is using more resources than necessary. To use FreeRTOS timers, you have to turn them on with the following entry in FreeRTOSConfig.h: #define configUSE_TIMERS 1 Auto-Reload: this timer will automatically be restarted when it expires, making it ideal for periodic-kind of things.Making it ideal for a ‘one-shot’ kind of thing. One-Shot: when the timer expires, it is not restarted again.One-Shot and Auto-ReloadįreeRTOS software timers support two different software timer, configured at timer creation time: And that way the Timer API has parameters like ‘ticksToWait’ to specify the waiting time if the timer queue is full. The Timer Task will wake up when something is sent to that queue. Using that queue, other tasks can send commands to the timer task, for example to start or stop a timer. The other concept the Timer task is using is a queue: this queue is used for inter-process communication. When a timer has expired, the Timer Service task calls its callback (the Timer callback). The Timer Service task is not continuously running: from the Timer List the task knows the time when he as to wake up each time a timer in the timer list has expired. But before it fired on the 60 seconds, user cancel the application by Ctrl+C.There is a dedicated ‘ Tmr Svc‘ (Timer Service or Deamon) Task which maintains an ordered list of software timers, with the timer to expire next in front of the list). I want to create a timer and set it to fire only once after 60 seconds. PMD says regular use of the Personal Microderm device will help to significantly increase the absorption of your favourite skin serums moisturisers, and oils, giving you more bang for your buck with your favourite products. It’s recommended to use the machine at night as mild redness may occur after treatment and your skin will become more sensitive to the sun after exfoliation. Once you’re done treating the area sufficiently, you can apply a soothing facial spray, followed by serums and moisturiser. Do not stop or hover on one spot, this will help to alleviate added stress and prevent irritation. Make sure you do not apply pressure and only do one pass per area. Work from the center of your face out to your hairline. Plug in the PMD device and begin with the white disc, holding the skin taut as you smoothly and gently glide the device across your skin in an upward motion. When using the PMD device on the face, start by cleansing your face and thoroughly drying the skin. Start by watching the PMD instruction video online and practising on your arm or leg before using the device on your face. It’s important to start with the white training disc when using the tool for the first time, and then slowly work your way up through the coarseness levels. There’s also a white training disc included in the pack to help you learn how to use the tool safely and efficiently before embarking on your at-home microdermabrasion journey. This means even those with sensitive skin can use the Personal Microderm and see amazing spa-quality results! It’s easy to find the treatment perfect for your skin type because the discs are colour-coded and range from very sensitive to very coarse. The discs can be easily switched out to suit your desired treatment intensity and customise your treatment for your skin’s needs. The tool comes with a variety of discs that vary in intensity. Because the top layer of skin has been removed, this time between treatments allows the skin to recover and gives new skin cells time to generate. It is important to wait about 7 days between each treatment to give your skin time to recover. The PMD Personal Microderm can be used once every week. Regular use of the tool results in great results as each treatment helps to stimulate new skin cells by triggering the skin’s natural healing process, which boosts collagen and elastin. The patented aluminium oxide discs help remove dead, dull skin, fine lines, and wrinkles while the suction technology helps remove unwanted dead skin, making it the perfect combination in an at-home exfoliating device. The tool uses a combination of patented spinning discs embedded with aluminium oxide crystals and vacuum suction to remove dead skin and increase circulation.Īccording to PMD, its Personal Microderm tool is a lot more effective than normal exfoliating as it works to smooth the texture of the skin while also evening out skin tone. The PMD tool fits into the palm of your hand and allows for quick and easy microdermabrasion on any part of the body. The great news is, thanks to local distributor Sought After, PMD’s Personal Microderm tools (as well as a range of other exciting skincare tools) are now available in South Africa! How does it work? PMD’s at-home tools have developed a bit of a cult following overseas, with thousands of women singing the praises of the devices online. The nifty hand-held skincare tool offers a plug-and-play solution to many skincare woes and can help to even out skin tone and improve texture while also reducing the appearance of blemishes, dark spots, and enlarged pores. The Personal Microderm Classic tool offers skincare fanatics on a budget a way to take care of their skin and enjoy the exfoliation benefits of microdermabrasion in the comfort of their own homes. Thankfully, PMD (Personal Microderm) has come to the rescue of your wallet and your skin with a home treatment option that many say rivals the professional treatment for a fraction of the cost. But, as brilliant as the treatment is, a professional microdermabrasion treatment, can set you back a few hundred Rand for each session, and splurging on regular in-salon treatments isn’t always feasible for many people. For those new to the concept, microdermabrasion is an exfoliation and skin rejuvenation procedure that leaves your skin looking softer and brighter almost instantly. If you’re fanatical about your skincare routine, then chances are you’ve heard of the benefits of microdermabrasion. The great thing about this title is the fact that the story actually goes all the way from high school romance to the wedding, spanning more than 10 years, and the sprites change as well. It's really slice of life and rather grounded, with an emphasis on personal relationships family, friends and lover. I've read the main stories of Ichigo and Ryuzo when they were free, and bought Haruki based on his presence in Ichigo's route. Ichigo is the most popular despite the fact he's not quite the poster boy (perfect ace Haruki seems to be) he definitely features more than the others. He's a tsundere, and more angsty and closed off than the others. It takes quite a bit for the MC to break though, and for the romance to actually progress. The majority of Ichigo's story arc is based on his angst about his future as a pastry chef and inheriting his father's shop, which unfortunately means that the romance is more lacking than I would have liked. MC has so many mixed signals to work off here, which does get better in later stories. Ryuzo also had mixed signals too, so much I was so bored with his route, despite his type of character, the brash kind older brother type. I don't think I even finished his route when it was free tbh. I've read a bit of Rihito in the special stories as well, and he's pretty intriguing as he's younger than the MC and was mistaken for a girl as a child by the MC. He's a flirty type though, and somewhat hung up on the fact that he is younger so he isn't quite enough to justify a purchase from me. Ooh finally a book club session I can attend!ĭDIWT was one of the first Voltage games that really kicked off my otome games journey so it’s quite special to me. The story is not anything special but the fact that it followed the characters throughout their young adult to adulthood also got my attention! I’m a huge sucker for childhood friends tropes so I was quite invested in this series. That being said, I only played Rihito’s (S1-3) and Ryuto’s (S1 & S2) bc l was broke lol. I remember I like Rihito a lot because of the fact that the MC mistook him as a girl when they were young and he grew up really flirty and the opposite of what she expected lmao. There’s a specific CG in season 2 where he’s hovering above the MC, taking his clothes off-ya girl had to take a water break cuz whew it got hot real quick. somewhat boring? I was pretty turned off in the beginning when he was like wait a min what’s your name? Season 1 Ryuzo was meh. Season 2 was much better, including his design! Maybe the fact that he’s a very brotherly character so it was difficult for me to see him as LI. Although, I’m a bit hesitant to play the latter because he seems too bland? (Someone prove me wrong, tho.) I might consider going back to it to play Ichigo or Haruki’s route. This was one of the first Voltage games I played! My favorites are Ichigo, Haruki, and Takeshi, also played Jo's and Ryuzo's main stories and felt kinda eh about them. I've played all three guys' season 1, Ichigo's first S2 story, and little bits of both Haru and Takeshi's first S2 stories. This is so petty lol but I can't stand how Haru looks past S1. In S2 he looks like a creeper and in S3 he looks like an older creeper. Such a shame because he's actually my favorite above the other two. I really love Ichigo in his sequel because he all but discards his mean persona in favor of spoiling the MC and telling her his true feelings. Plus I resonated pretty hard with the latter half of the plot because my partner and I were long distance for a long time. He's really sweet when he wants to be, but especially in his MS he's pretty much just another tsundere. Takeshi was a big surprise for me because normally the aloof characters are super boring, but he's really funny and thoughtful. Seeing him and MC grow together and fall in love was really sweet. Also he is hands down THE hottest boy in S2, fite me. Now Haruki! Tbh his MS falls flat in quite a few instances oh look, conveniently placed molester who never gets mentioned again, AND amnesia in the same plot? but Haru is such a good, caring boy I can't help but love him. He tries to hard to be perfect, and let's be honest he pretty much is, but he slowly starts showing his weaknesses to MC and only treats her specially. I feel their relationship is the most developed out of all the routes, and it definitely gave me the most butterflies lol. Fuck u bro and ur little goblin following u just to downvote a comment. Solve the problem recursively by moving disk 1, 2, 3,…, N – 1 i.e.Let us consider a recursive function that takes the following argument N, the number of disks, to_Rod, which indicates the rod which is moved to, from_rod, denoting the rod from which rod is removed, and aux_rod, denoting the rod which is used for transferring rods from from_rod to to_rod.The minimum number of moves to solve the Tower of Hanoi problem is 2^N – 1, where N is the number of disks. Similarly, the problem can be solved recursively for N = 3. Then the second disk is moved from rod 1 to rod 2 and finally, the first disk is moved again back to rod 2. So, one disk is moved from rod 1 to rod 3. Let us try to solve the problem for N = 2. The idea is to use a recursive approach to solve this problem.
